What's included in your server

Same hardware and same features on every plan. The only thing that changes when you upgrade is the RAM.

Fast per-core CPU

A Minecraft server runs its main loop on a single thread, so what matters is how fast one core is, not how many you get. Our nodes use high-clock dedicated CPUs with no artificial CPU caps, and each new server lands on the node with the least load.

Dedicated RAM

The RAM on your plan is yours, not shared with the neighbors. Upgrade to a bigger plan at any time without losing the world or the config.

NVMe PCIe 4.0 storage

World saves and chunk loading hit the disk directly. NVMe removes the micro-stutter you get on hosts that still run SATA SSDs or oversold storage.

One-click backups

Take a backup from the panel before updating a modpack or trying a new plugin, and restore it with one click if something breaks.

Full Pterodactyl panel

Live console, file manager, SFTP, backups, subdomains, task scheduler and a one-click modpack installer. No features locked behind a bigger plan.

24/7 support on Discord

Real people, no ticket templates. We are a Mexican team and we are bilingual: support answers in English and in Spanish, so a mixed community gets help in both languages.

Fabric is the light loader: faster to boot, quicker to update to new Minecraft versions, and the home of the performance mods (Lithium, FerriteCore, Krypton) that make a modded server feel like a tuned Paper one. It is also the loader where the most common mistake is forgetting Fabric API, which almost every mod depends on. This page covers what we set up, what you still decide, and what a Fabric server needs.

What is different about a Fabric server

Fabric itself is tiny: the loader plus a launcher jar. Nearly every mod then requires Fabric API in the mods folder, and a server without it fails with a missing-dependency error on the first boot. The panel installs it when you pick Fabric; if you build the mod list by hand, make it the first file you upload.

Client-only mods are the other classic failure. Fabric mods declare their side, and mods marked client (shaders, minimaps, HUD) crash a dedicated server. Modrinth labels them; leave them out of the server folder. Java follows the Minecraft version: 17 for 1.18-1.20.4, 21 for 1.20.5-1.21.x, 25 for 26.x.

Performance mods that are worth it

This is where Fabric shines. Lithium optimizes game logic, FerriteCore cuts memory use, Krypton improves networking, and a chunk pregeneration run with Chunky removes the biggest source of lag on any modded server. None of them change gameplay, and they are the first thing we add to a Fabric server that is struggling. If you prefer, support installs and checks them for you.

Fabric behind a network, and Bedrock players

Fabric backends work behind Velocity with FabricProxy-Lite for modern forwarding; there is no supported legacy-forwarding mod, so the proxy must use modern forwarding. Geyser also ships a Fabric build if you want Bedrock players on a single Fabric server, though on a network Geyser belongs on the proxy. The network guide covers both cases.

RAM, CPU and where to host it

Fabric packs run lighter than Forge ones: performance packs are fine on 4-6 GB, mid-sized adventure packs on 6-8 GB. The CPU still decides TPS, so our nodes run dedicated CPUs with no usage caps and NVMe. Miami for the US South and Latin America, Los Angeles for the West Coast, Canada for the Northeast, Roubaix for Europe.

Frequently asked questions

Is Fabric API included?

Yes. When you pick Fabric in the panel, Fabric API is installed with the loader. If you upload your own mod list, keep it in mods/; almost every mod depends on it.

Can I install Modrinth packs in one click?

Yes. The installer covers Modrinth and CurseForge, sets Fabric and the Java version and leaves the server ready to start.

Why does my Fabric server crash on start?

Usually a client-only mod in mods/, a missing Fabric API, a mod built for another Minecraft version, or the wrong Java. The console names the mod; support reads it with you.

Which Java does Fabric need?

Java 17 for 1.18-1.20.4, Java 21 for 1.20.5-1.21.x, Java 25 for 26.x. The panel sets it per server.

Can Bedrock players join a Fabric server?

Yes, with the Fabric build of Geyser and Floodgate on a single server, or with Geyser on the proxy if the Fabric server is part of a network.

Do you migrate my Fabric server?

Yes, free: world, mods, configs and the exact loader version, with a backup first.
